Renowned Montreal abstract artist Paul Beaulieu earned a dedicated following in Quebec for his bold use of colour and contrasting shapes that came together to make a whole. He was regarded as one of the leading Quebecious Abstract painters of the latter Twentieth Century- He was "An artistic breath of fresh air."
